Terms and conditions

Version 25 October 2026

This is a translation of the Dutch algemene voorwaarden. In case of any conflict, the Dutch version prevails.

1. Applicability

These terms apply to all quotes and assignments of Grenstekst, a service of Klik&Shop, Paramaribohof 55, 2315 VW Leiden, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 98148362, VAT NL005310837B66. The service is intended for business customers. Deviations apply only if agreed in writing (including by email).

2. Quotes and prices

Quotes are valid for 30 days. All prices are in euros and exclude VAT. An assignment is concluded when you accept the quote by email or via the site.

3. Free trial translation

The free trial (up to 3 products) is without obligation. You may use the trial text; it does not oblige you to place an order.

4. Performance and delivery

We deliver within the agreed period, as a file or import file (for example a CSV for Shopify). Delivery dates are target dates; if there is a delay, we will let you know as soon as possible. Translations are produced with AI assistance and checked afterwards.

5. Customer input and responsibility

You supply the source texts and warrant that you are entitled to have them translated. You remain responsible for the accuracy of product claims, prices and legally required information. We flag conspicuous or incorrect claims, but we do not provide legal advice.

6. Corrections and complaints

Within 14 days of delivery you are entitled to one free round of corrections for errors in the translation. Complaints must be reported by email within that period. After that, the delivery is deemed accepted.

7. Payment

Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. Subscriptions are invoiced monthly in advance and can be cancelled monthly with effect from the end of the current month.

8. Intellectual property

You remain the owner of your source texts. Upon full payment, you obtain all rights of use to the translation.

9. Confidentiality

We treat your texts and data confidentially and use them only for your assignment. See also our privacy statement.

10. Liability

Our liability is limited to the invoiced amount of the assignment concerned. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue, except in the case of intent or gross negligence.

11. Force majeure

In the event of force majeure, such as outages at suppliers, we may suspend performance without being liable for damages.

12. Governing law

Dutch law applies. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of The Hague.
